You’re going to look like you, and you’re going to look amazing.
Part of my ethos is that I want you to instantly recognise yourself and know that you amazing. Every time you look and every image of yourself you’ll know that it’s you looking back at you. You haven’t been digitally altered to become someone else. It’s all you.
These before and after shots then are just to illustrate the demonstrative change we can still bring about to make you look incredible, just like you.

If you’re not changing me, what ARE you doing in the edit?
It’s as much about tidying up and making sure it all looks like the same photographer has taken the shot as much as anything else. I remove any spots and temporary blemishes that the make up hasn’t covered. I remove any distractions from the shot – which is usually something just about poking into the frame that would be better not being there.
And then it’s a case of adding some colour and light settings that are representative of my work.
Below is an example of the same shot straight out of camera, with the kind of editing I perform on my shots.
You should be able to see that the light from the blinds is nice, but the shadow cast on the face means she isn’t as prominent in the shot. She’s not quite the main subject in the version straight out of camera. A bit lightening on the face and a teeny bit on the body takes care of that. Then some colour correction to make this shot match with the rest of the shoot…and that’s it!
